Video Footage of PlayStation Project Q Leaks Online

Footage of PlayStation’s Project Q has been leaked online ahead of its expected full official reveal later this year.

The new console, which was said to release later this year by CEO Jim Ryan will be a “dedicated device that enables you to stream any game from your PS5 console using Remote Play over wifi”.

Despite Ryan stating that more on the console will be shared later this year, this hasn’t stopped one user, who has apparently obtained the Project Q early from leaking footage online.

According to the images and video, the Project Q is using an Android tablet, which has led many to speculate that it’s very likely the device will be used to emulate games on release.

Officially, the Project Q has an 8-inch screen and has “all the buttons and features of the DualSense controller”. According to Insider Gaming, Project Q is scheduled to release in November of this year.

In addition to the Project Q, another piece of PlayStation 5 hardware, the PlayStation 5 Pro is also in development. You can read our report here, which includes some PS5 Pro Specs, target performance, and release date.
